11/11 Freedom, Do You Love and Understand?
The Independence Day project (...), is a meeting on the subject of patriotism understood as respect, commitment and small everyday gestures. 11/11 – Wolność, Kocham i Rozumiem (Freedom, I Love and Understand) is one of the biggest undertakings of Centrum Kultury Agora, held annually on 11 November. On this day we try to evoke concepts such as Freedom and Homeland, and we try to reflect on their relevance in the context of challenges posed by the modern world. We promote love for the homeland and build civic consciousness while at the same time call for and spread the attitude of openness to the world, tolerance and respect. The programme of the event focuses on family entertainment, its important part are interesting workshops for children which teach them patriotism in a creative way, games and activities, film screenings, competitions with prizes, exhibition vernissages and lots of other attractions (...).
